 In 2013, the foundation made its second environmental grant to the Penguin Project, which helped support
						a research trip to the Galápagos Islands. To learn more, please read the letter and report below.

						its first environmental grant to Tess Geers, who we know Phil would have been proud of.  Her work on the 
						Gulf of Mexico after the Deepwater Horizon oil spillwhich focuses on fish preservationwill 
						hopefully be the beginning of significant scientific work on the Gulf.

									at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Institute. She also recently landed at job as a Conservation Associate/Wildlife Fisheries Specialist at the 
									New England Aquarium in Boston.  Congratulations, Tess!
